Sooke and the Olympics

Greetings from Salty Towers in sunny Sooke!

Winter ends early around here, and it is amazing to see the bulbs poking out and cherry blossoms in mid-February. Beautiful spring weather here, we are blessed to be the probably best place in Canada right now.

And not very far from Sooke, there's a little event going on ... Vancouver's 2010 Winter Olympics. Sooke has joined in the festivities, hosting a booth at the O-Zone facility in Richmond. We are found on the "BC Street of Dreams" and early feedback is our booth is the toast of event. Entirely developed and run by volunteers from our little town by the sea -- big congrats to you all!
