September 15, Sooke Whale Watching

Last week, we received a phone call from Sooke Coastal Exploration, our famous local whale watching operation, saying the Orcas were passing by Sooke -- J-Pod and a handful of L-Pod are back. Our visiting family, Melody and Lonnie, were anxious to see killer whales in the wild, so we headed out and had a wonderful experience. Photos by Melody.
